Any Braves who were unable to attend the reunion go to www.versatilephoto.com and click view & order, password is boone68. Will be posted til Nov. 18th. You will see a group shot of the attendees. So many have said they wish they knew who was in the photo. Maybe we can define names by identifying left to right. I am on the bottom, second row up counting from left to right, 8th spot, beige top with black striping on the edge. Ok...others state yours. Who knows maybe we can get the whole group identified. Go Braves !

It seems that there are enough of us in the Atlanta/North Georgia and surrounding areas to warrant our own get-together sometime. Perhaps we may want to look into that possibility if there is interest.

AMEN to that, Be! I knew we would have a lot of fun, but I didn't realize that we would have THAT MUCH FUN!!!
It was great to re-connect with classmates, both Fri. and Sat. nights--even with 6 of our Lake Como Elementary School Brownie Troop!
Thanks to everyone that was able to join us, for making it such a huge success! I'm really looking forward to our next get-together, maybe even sooner than 2013, with all of our locals.
Homecoming Game is this Fri. night, if any of you are able to come.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOO Braves!

What a great time we had at the 40th! I can't believe how fantastic the dancing was. We still have some "hot" movers and shakers on the dancefloor! It was wonderful to see friends and classmates from Boone and beyond! We have elementary school class pictures that were so sweet to see!

Thanks to the Boone High Cheerleading Squad for handling registration Saturday afternoon and evening. They were so beautiful and had a fun time being there with us.

To those of you who were unable to attend, please know you were missed! Your classmates in attendance have asked that we meet in five years instead of ten. As soon as we get a confirmed date we will post it on this website so you can plan early to join us for the 45th!

Please, please keep your contact information current so we can stay in touch! Let us know if you hear of deceased classmates, too. We were all sorry to learn that Gerald Bush passed away recently and will place a heart by his name on the directory.

The Legend Continues....Go Braves!!!

Far beyond my expectations. This, my first reunion (yes, I waited 40 years), was at once touching, pleasant, mind-boggling, and fun! It was incredible to see old friends again and to discover that in some ways even 40 years does not seem so very long a time. How very nice, helpful, open, and welcoming everyone was. I also discovered that there are many I wish I'd gotten an opportunity to know better, "all those years ago." A big thank you to all those who made it possible, and to everyone who attended. Until next time. I promise not to wait so long again.

I want to wish all of you a Happy Reunion! What a class you were!

I retired in 1997, after 32 years of teaching, all at Boone High. My wife and I now live happily in the North Georgia Mountains, after finally "escaping" from Florida.

I am sorry that I can't be with you for this milestone reunion, but I wish you all the very best as you reconnect and review your lives and celebrate your successes. May you all continue to lead wonderful, happy, productive, and rewarding lives, and all make it back for reunion # 50!

Sincerely. R
Roger W. Dixon
